The Story Behind Second Chance Social

Built from experience. Driven by purpose. Rooted in the belief that the best businesses don’t just serve their communities — they become part of them.

THE NAME

The name Second Chance Social was inspired by two things that matter deeply to me - my son Chance, and my belief that every business deserves the opportunity to grow into its full potential. Chance motivates everything I do and reminds me why I show up with intention every single day. The word “second chance” reflects my philosophy that great businesses are not built overnight. They evolve. They improve. They get refined over time — and sometimes all it takes is the right perspective, the right partnership, and someone who genuinely believes in what you’re building.

THE GAP I KEPT SEEING

After nearly two decades in hospitality, I kept seeing the same pattern. Great businesses with passionate owners — struggling not because they lacked heart, but because they lacked the outside perspective, the systems, or the right partnerships to grow. I wanted to be the person who fills that gap.

THE VISION

Second Chance Social exists at the intersection of three things I am deeply passionate about: hospitality, community, and collaboration. My vision is a business where local restaurants, wineries, and small brands don’t compete — they connect. Where a well-run event can introduce two businesses to each other’s audiences. Where operations consulting isn’t cold and corporate — it’s personal, practical, and built around your specific culture and community.

WHY THIS, WHY NOW

Nearly 20 years of hospitality leadership taught me everything I know about what makes a business truly great. I gave that knowledge and dedication to someone else's restaurant for a long time — and I learned exactly what it takes to make people stay, return, and tell others. Now I'm putting all of it to work for yours — and building something of my own that I'm proud of every single day.
